While McCain’s recent whining about Gwen Ifill’s conflict of interest in moderating last night’s debates because she has a book coming out on Obama in my honest opinion backfired on him in his desperation to discredit the Obama/Biden camp in trying to stop or alter the debate.
Ms. Ifill, held her ground professionally in a relaxed and fair manner as she presented both VP candidates with the questions. More of McCain’s pissing and moaning really showed that it was more of his media manipulation and really nothing more than much ado about nothing! Ifill’s book was announced this summer…McCain once again doesn’t have his facts and better rethink his strategy if he actually thinks he can actually win this election.

Last night, we watched a more civilized debate between Democratic VP hopeful, Sen. Joe Biden and his Republican VP counterpart, Gov. Sarah Palin than last weeks Prez debates last Friday.
While Palin did surprise a lot of folks and only said “You Betch” and another one of her colloquial expressions once, even with her folksy approach really didn’t answer all of moderator Gwen Ifill’s questions, she did do her best to stay in sync with Biden.
My vote and the popular general consensus from the media and the American people is that is evident that Sen. Biden clearly won their first and only debate from Washington University in St. Louis last night.
Hey but just don’t take my word…watch for yourself?
More of McCain’s Pissing and Moaning….Physician Heal Thyself!
In his own words…Sarah was wrong–Joe DOES say it so!
Liz –
If you saw tonight’s debate, you saw Governor Sarah Palin give a spirited defense of the same disastrous policies that have failed us for the past eight years.
She couldn’t identify a single area where she or John McCain would change George W. Bush’s economic or foreign policy positions.

The change we need is fixing this broken economy from the bottom up — not tax breaks for the wealthy and huge corporations that ship U.S. jobs overseas. We need to focus on defeating al Qaeda and the Taliban and restoring America’s standing in the world — not an unending commitment in Iraq.
Let’s be clear: Governor Palin and Senator McCain are offering nothing but more of the same failed Bush policies at home and abroad, trying to disguise them in the rhetoric of change.
Americans need real solutions and real change.
We’re in this together and there’s a lot to do before Election Day. Please make a donation of $5 or more right now to support this campaign for change:

Thank you for all that you’re doing.
Now let’s get to work and change this country,
Joe

Never be shaken, no matter what happens or what others may say. Never be flustered; never lose confidence. This is the way we should strive to live our lives. Being able to do so is a sign of genuine character.

Buddhism teaches that self-awareness arises through our encounters with the eternal. Buddhism urges us to be receptive to the most profound meaning of living, in the eternal process of cosmic evolution, and further urges that we accept, as our mission, compassionate behavior toward all beings.

One who, on hearing the teachings of the Lotus Sutra, makes even greater efforts in faith is a true seeker of the way. T’ien-t’ai states, “From the indigo, an even deeper blue.” This passage means that, if one dyes something repeatedly in indigo, it becomes even bluer than the indigo leaves. The Lotus Sutra is like the indigo, and the strength of one’s practice is like the deepening blue.
